2015 Office Redesign

So things have been going fantastically at work–I even got my own office! It was quite barren and empty to begin with, and there were harsh, lifeless overhead fluorescent bulbs, but with a little work, things turned out a whole lot better.

The only requirements were that the two original chairs, the bookcase and the file cabinet remain (company policy), so I had to work around those.

Things that made the biggest difference:

  • Great lighting – I thought I hated the paint color, but it was really the lights that were the problem.
  • Modern wall clock – $24 on Amazon.
  • Easily accessible cookies – Oatmeal raisin.

2012 Apartment Redesign

I moved into my current apartment back in November of 2012. I started designing that following January, but I never truly finished the work. I had intended for there to be two rows of floating shelves utilized as a modern bookcase in the bedroom, but those were never bought nor installed. Although my aesthetic has shifted toward more pastel hues and light, airy moods, I still enjoy the design.

Lots of dust. Good memories.
