Well now, my favorite time of year is rolling around and man are there a lot of things just hanging up in the air lol There’s so much going on right now, I don’t really know where to begin. I suppose the most important thing that’s happening design-wise is that I am buying my first home! It started more as a silly suggestion by a friend and then it began to take it’s own shape and the weight and inertia of it just sucked me in………..to my first home haha. But what I’m truly excited about is the opportunity to learn so many different skills when it comes to decor and upgrades. Tile? Yes please? Flooring installation? I’ve got this. There are so many different components that I am all-too-excited to get my hands in on 😀

…Unfortunately, it will have to wait until sometime mid-January–since the house won’t be finished being built until then. Sigh. But I have a lot to look forward to–an spacious, open floorplan, an immense backyard (Hello OUTDOOR DESIGN).

So much. So little time. A lot to look forward to and a lot to do. I will try to update more periodically 🙂

Oh, and I’ve also completed an 11-mile obstical course and I’ve started running on the weekends. This whole year has been a journey of self improvement, both of the mind and the body. I’ll see you all soon!
